Visit to museum/gallery (Silver of the Stars exhibition and collections in museum) to sketch ideas and collect stimulus.
Develop sketches into designs and notes.
Choose materials (papier mache, clay, modroc etc) that are suitable for the chosen design.
In pairs or small groups pupils are given an image of the silversmith’s creation along with the name and description of the star.
Pupils will write down key words and ideas to help them create movement.
